After initial reports about an Android tablet from Samsung powered by an Intel processor, the news has now been confirmed that said tablet is indeed in works.
According to reports, Samsung is already working on the 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab 3, which will be powered by Intel inside. While it isn’t currently known what processor will be on-board the device, the CloverTrail processor isn’t enough to run the tablet smoothly.
As per available reports, most likely the Bay Trail which is the newest addition in the new Silvermont line of Intel, may be featured in the tablet. T6he processor with the frugal 22nm processes at least three times more powerful than the current Atom processors. Now we have to wait till June 20 to get a glimpse of the Intel processor hidden in the Samsung tablets.
